Last Saturday night, Greg and I were watching a movie downstairs when Easton walked in the room and I could tell his face was all shiny.
Turns out, he had slathered Vaseline all over this face and HAIR.
It took a solid week to get all of that out. Anyway, so yesterday I'm flipping through a Target coupon book and see one for Vaseline. I pointed to the picture and asked Easton what that was.
He started smiling, tapped his head and said, "Mine...mine."

Can We Leave Him Alone?
On the weekends, we almost always go places together--all four of us. Even if it's just to run errands. Yesterday, I was just making a quick trip to the post office, and the kids wanted to ride along.
Greg was in the middle of doing some stuff around the house, so he stayed behind.
In the car, Macey looked really concerned, and I asked her what was up.
She was very serious and said, "We're going to leave daddy in there all by his big self?"
I assured her he could probably handle it, but I'm not sure she bought it.

What's for Breakfast?
Me: What do you want for breakfast? Pancakes, cereal, toast, eggs?
Macey: I'll just have some Starbursts.
Me: Well, you can have a couple, but that can't be breakfast. They're not very good for you.
Macey: Yes, they are because they're delicious.

Jesus Loves Me...by Macey
"Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me to shake my booty."
Hmmmm...well, alright.
Hmmmm...well, alright.

Bloodhound
Macey seriously has the nose of a bloodhound.
This morning in the car, I sneakily got out my chapstick and put it on
quickly so she couldn't see from the backseat. As soon as I put it up,
she said, "Hmmm...I smell something. Smells like gum. No, no, smells
like lip stuff. Mommy, do you have lip stuff? I need some."
Be nice!
After I told Easton he couldn't have any more crackers because he purposely dumped his on the floor, Macey came in the kitchen and said, "Mommy, can you be nice to my brother? He's just a little boy."

Well, Duh...
Macey, from the backseat, "Mommy, will you open this?"
Me: "Ummm...what is it?"
Macey: "A thing that opens."
Yeah...
Me: "Ummm...what is it?"
Macey: "A thing that opens."
Yeah...
